Couldnt find the b&b. Arrived thinking it looked nice from the outside. I was pleased to see on the billboard there is sky in every room and an on-suite.Knocked on the door, we wasnt greeted just told to take our shoes off.We were taken to our rooms.only way yo describe it was dark, dingy and cold.Had a hard day at... We booked Highcroft Guesthouse through Expedia, where it was classified as a 3 star guesthouse. This is a joke as this place is just a rather shabby B&B. The parking consists of squeezing into a tight spot in front of the single garage (heaven knows what happens when they have more than one guest with a car) right on a... More

Plus points - it was close to the city centre ( 5 min walk) Beds were comfortable. The family who owned it were pleasant enough. Bad points - First of all she tried to charge us £20 more than what was stated on my confirmation email, once I chucked this in her face because she was quite argumentative about it... More
