Really enjoyed our stay at the Brighton Arms, made feel very welcome on arrival and the standards were maintained during our short stay. Met two real characters in the bar named Sid and Leeds, would happily have paid double just for their company!

82 yr old mother was not impressed , dirty litter ridden streets & the shabby look of the place was not a good start to our stay. The Hotel was good quality for the price. The service was amazing, really friendly staff and management. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The hotel provided a good and timely cab service, and is located only 10 minutes from the town centre. I Would stay there again in a heart beat.

On the plus side, the greeting was friendly, our rooms were ready early and the pub is seemingly open until all...

I stayed with a friend one night (Saturday night) and we liked very much the hotel. Nice people, specially Wendy and Chris. The room was very clean, and the situation is good; 1 hour walking from New Street Station. If you're looking for a cheap, friendly and clean hotel, "Brighton Arms" is excellent!!
The brighton is located in the South of Birmingham & wefound the rooms to be very comfortable & all ensuite. We were up there for a party on the Friday night & ended up staying an extra night as we enjoyed Birmingham & we were made to feel very welcome. Its a good bar & the food was enjoyable.
Stayed for 5 nights during the recent India-England Test match.Although it was a terrible performance by the Indian Cricket Team, the stay was a very pleasant one. The stadium was a cool 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The atmosphere was very homely and the English breakfast delicious.Chris and Wendy are the nicest hosts you will find anywhere in the...

Also if you are looking for a hotel close to the city centre the location of Brighton Arms is just about the right distance away...

We stayed at this hotel last week and we had a very enjoyable experience. The staff Wendy and Chris were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were excellent and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed the fried egg in the mornings. Highly recommended to others.
