Stayed here as part of a football break package. The hotel was a pleasant surprise to us as it was very clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant enough. The room was really big and very clean. Me and my boyfriend spent a weekend in Birmingham, choosing this hotel to stay in because we got a really good deal. This hotel was built in the 70's and has not been refurbished or cleaned since. Our room was pokey, with dirty net curtains, stained walls and radiators, well worn carpet and the bathroom stank. Staff at reception are always helpful and efficent. Gets busy when there are conferences on in Birmingham. The restaurant is a nice environment and good is of decent quality both for Dinner and Breakfast.
