Overall this Travelodge was fine, I would have given it 4 if the shower in our room had worked properly, but it didn't. We were put on the top floor as the staff said it was quite noisy on the lower floors, which was good for us, but perhaps not so good for guests arriving later in the day. The... More

Let's not make any mistakes here; this is a Travelodge. That means you have to bring your own shampoo, big deal. But I can tell you, the hotel, my room and bathroom were spotless. I have paid much more and stayed in dirtier hotels. The room was comfortable, I have paid much more and had a much worse nights sleep.... More

Just returned from a stay here. Highly satisfied. Basic (but we only look for somewhere to wash, change and sleep) spotlessly clean, very friendly helpful staff, brilliant central location and an approximate 75% discount (£5.50 for 24 hours instead of £20) for the High Street NCP car park for Travel Lodge customers. We had no problem with drinks, noise etc.... More

Staying at the travelodge here is realy close to the city centre, a good location, but beware, there are some real dodgy characters that hang around outside on the grass area that seem to be always drinking, found out theres a homeless place just around the corner .(nothing against homeless people) I had to go and check my car twice as... Good central location, close to shops, cinema and train station. 5 mins walk from the bull ring, and 10 minutes walk from new street station. For a budget hotel we were very impressed. The rooms were modern and clean, with tv, tea and coffee making facilities, hanging space and a nice bathroom. The pillows weren't very comfortable, but ok for... More

Myself and a friend stayed here for 2 nights in April as we were looking for somewhere in the city centre. It's in a great location, a few minutes walk from the bullring, shops in city centre, moor street train station and not too far from new street station either. We paid £25 each for the 2 nights which is... More

Stayed in 3 different Travelodge in my UK trip and this was the best experience among all 3. The hotel is very close to the Bullring and train station. Room condition is good and cleanliness is acceptable. But keep in mind that early check-in is 10 pounds charge and no luggage storage service available, this might bother people like me... More

My friend and I booked this hotel for cheap. It was pristine, close to the train station and the shops - which was great! The only problem we had was that the woman at the front desk when we checked in was a little rude when we asked about leaving our bags and that we didn't mind paying for an... More

This hotel was exactly what you'd expect of a Travelodge; except maybe cleaner! Was really reasonably priced and the rooms were really clean. Very basic but that was fine for us. Staff were accommodating when we asked to change rooms due to the dodgy bed! We asked for a room high up given the comments that we'd read on trip... More

Does what it says on the tin. Rooms and hotel areas are clean and tidy. For the price £20 a night I can't complain about anything. Staff are friendly and the discount you get with the multi story next door is great.
