Just returned from a stay here. Highly satisfied. Basic (but we only look for somewhere to wash, change and sleep) spotlessly clean, very friendly helpful staff, brilliant central location and an approximate 75% discount (£5.50 for 24 hours instead of £20) for the High Street NCP car park for Travel Lodge customers. Staying at the travelodge here is realy close to the city centre, a good location,but beware, there are some real dodgy characters that hang around outside on the grass area that seem to be always drinking, found out theres a homeless place just around the corner .(nothing against homeless people) I had to go and check my car twice as... Stayed in 3 different Travelodge in my UK trip and this was the best experience among all 3. The hotel is very close to the Bullring and train station. This hotel was exactly what you'd expect of a Travelodge; except maybe cleaner! Was really reasonably priced and the rooms were really clean. Very basic but that was fine for us. Does what it says on the tin. Rooms and hotel areas are clean and tidy. For the price £20 a night I can't complain about anything. Staff are friendly and the discount you get with the multi story next door is great.
