This is a family run establishment and from we checked in we were given the best of treatment the room was adequate, clean, tidy and was better than expected,The bathroom was of a resonble size and served the purpose. Ok, not the best area of town, near a station but a surprisingly good stay. Breakfast was exceptional - great ingredients, freshly cooked and the friendliest chef and staff for many a day! Superb shower in the room and a good nights sleep. More

I found this hotel had a loveley family charm. The staff was courteous and helpful and knowledgable about the local. Wonderfully situated in walking distance from the train station. This added to a more hasselfree travel experience. Very good Wi Fi access. More

Terrible staff. Unhelpful and lazy reception staff. The room was dirty and in a poor state of repair. The mattress protector was stained with god knows what and the shower door was falling to pieces. I am still waiting on my 0450 alarm call from the unmanned reception desk. A sorry state of affairs. Avoid at all costs!!!!!! More

Visited the hotel for a number nights. Noisey as railway station just next door. Most of the staff were friendly. Porter was very helpful. Food was ok. Just a shame about the noise. You do have to pay for the internet - it is NOT free. More
