Clean well run hotel with a great location for nightlife overlooking the canal. Rooms were a decent size and staff were helpful. Main drawback is the nearest car park being a way from the hotel with the magnificent charge of £18 per 24 hours. Otherwise worth the money. More

Not really sure what to say about this one, on paper it looks a great hotel, located in Birmingham's trendy mailbox with all its nice surroundings, it's a nice modern setting. Seeing the Malmaison in the same complex I approached with high expectations. Having paid £100 for 1 night I think it was this price that left me feeling a... More

The location is the main plus - its short walk to New Street & Broad Street. Hotel is very tired, carpets are worn and rooms are old fashioned Clean but doesnt reflect the modern feel of the area. Breakfast Buffet is around 13 pounds but I would recommend Cafe Rouge its the same price and better quality More

A smile and hallo are normal for a hotel welcome. Neither offered here. The hotel is staffed by the most miserable staff ever. The hotel is tired and tatty, not too clean. Badly needs a refit. My room smelt of smoke, and was very noisy from the people in the mailbox area below. I was woken early by the noise... More

Stayed for one night recently at The Mailbox Ramada. Perfect setting next to The Mailbox and bars/restaurants. The room was an excellent size and clean. The only glitch was that the hotel's tv system was not working but after informing the reception desk, I was credited with a film for the day. Preferred to have breakfast at Cafe Rouge next... More

If you want a reasonably priced and Ideally situated city-centre hotel then the Ramada Mailbox is as good a place as any to stay. Close to New Street station, the ICC, NIA and Broad Street with it's myriad bars and restaurants what more could you ask for. The room I was in had plenty of space compared to similar hotels,... Ramada Birmingham city is a really good hotel, located in the middle of Birminghams mailbox surrounded by restaurants bars and high end retailers and the canal. The room rate is very reasonable and the room I stayed in was a standard double, it featured a double bed, large work desk with leather chair, sofa, internet access, hot drink facilities and... More

Myself and my father stayed just for 1 night. Great location in a unique setting, the canal just outside the front door offers great photos with the narrow boats on the canal. It is a 5 minute walk to New Street train station too. Worth the stay. Reccomended. More

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good location then this fits the bill. Clean and Tidy. The hotel is situated above numerous restaurants and bars and is only a 5 minute walk from all the conference centres. It is also next door to a Tesco's and the Mailbox which include Harvey Nics More

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and again, there is nothing to complain about. the check in was seemless, the hotel room was well presented and clean. The restaurant offers a small but comprehensive menu together with chef specials, which I can recommend as uterly delicious. More
