I have stayed here a few times now, and each time the welcome has been warm and welcoming, although the breakfasts are even more welcome! Truely spoilt for choice, full English?, pancakes, waffles? For a stay in Straford on Avon within walking distance to the main town and all things Shakespeare the location of the Adelphi is ideal. I live here in 16th Oct.This is the best B&B i ever met,nice bedroom,nice dinner room and nice master. Very near to the city center and flowers everywhere.My wife and friend all love here. Now i am in Windermere,i do think of the Adelphi Guest House.Maybe it is the Best B&B i have met during my first trip in England. more

Pros: The breakfast tea room and food was charming and power shower was great. The owner's wife was very sweet. Cons: The owner was very rude and did not want to serve food at 8 AM which was one of four time options listed on the sheet. His attitude was annoying and unprofessional and ruined our stay. more

We booked the Adelphi last minute and were given the four poster bed room at the top of the house; we resided in regal splendour for our single night wishing we had time for a longer stay. My one-night stay in Stratford Upon Avon could not have been more comfortable - the Adelphi is a gem. Martin and Ellen were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished, and the breakfast was filling and delicious.
