Small comfortable Hotel is need of some refurbishment, which seemed to be underway. I could not get the WIFI to work in my room, and my sisters room was cold one of the radiators needed bleeding, and the TV did not work initially. That said the price was very reasonable and the breakfast OK

Stayed 2/3/2013 reception not bad ,walk through doors to rooms and step back in time very run down ,room was very tatty furniture seen better days wallpaper coming off walls ,don't think cobwebs on lights should be standard !! Hallways very narrow and the walls were paper thin which made an uncomfortable nights sleep, from the noise.

This is possibly the worst place I have ever staying. Positioned on main road so rooms at front are noisy. Public area of reception gives good impression then it all goes down hill. Stair carpet positively dangerous as loose, fraying and taped up. Function room where breakfast served was undergoing decoration with workmen trapsing back and forth with painting materials.... More
