We were introduced to this pretty pub in Grayswood, just outside Haslemere, by a friend a while ago and had a very enjoyable meal. We've also been with a group of about 28 people for lunch and the meal was really excellent and served quickly and efficiently (we had to pre-order, understandably, but no deposit was taken). We took another... More

If like me you love a traditional country pub then look no further, you will not be disappointed at the Wheatsheaf. The en suite rooms are clean and comfortable and excellent value for money but it is the pub which is the real star! The owner Ken and his team offer a genuinely warm welcome to this beautiful traditional country... More

Really welcoming place - really friendly and helpful owners/staff. Room was fairly basic but clean and in good order. Really good value for the price and a fantastic location. More

Stayed one night to attend the Haslemere Beer Festival. Room, although fairly dated was clean and the bed comfortable (bit a small TV in Room 3!) Shower excellent, great hang over cure! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was great. Shame I didn't have time to sample the restaraunt but friends who live... More

A good local independent pub with excellent staff. The bedroom was basic but perfectly adequate for a one night stay (attending a wedding nearby) and the bed comfortable (though no alternative to foam pillows!). Bathroom fixtures and fittings a bit tired but everything was clean and worked well. Very welcoming staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Landlord and... More

Excellent country pub! Food was beautiful and also reasonably priced. A very traditional pub with great atmosphere. The service was brilliant and the owners very friendly and welcoming. We didn't stay overnight at the Wheatsheaf Inn unfortunately but would definately do so in the future! We would highly recommend the Wheatsheaf Inn and look forward to returning again (even when...
