Holiday Inn's charge the earth, but they're basically just Travelodges with some shower gel and a tea bag thrown in.... and this one is typical. Void of any personality, heart or passion. Stay at the no frills hotel nearby and buy your shower gel and tea bags from the "stones throw away" Tesco. You'll save a bundle. more

1 night Saturday night stay . For the price we paid (£55 b&b for the two of us) I could not fault the hotel itself. Good size room , well lit - everywhere clean, plenty of seating in the lounge. Staff were very good - efficient and chatty , especially the receptionist and breakfast crew. If I had been paying... more

Four of us stayed at the Holiday Inn Guilford as part of a Thorpe Park package. We had a VERY good deal (£60pp for 1 night hotel B&B and 2 days Thorpe Park) so cannot fault the price. On arrival, the hotel reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They couldn’t help you enough. They also answered the phone quickly... more

About as average as you can get. Nothing special, nothing really bad. I'm sure there must be better hotels than this in the area. Location wasn't great and the walls were a bit thin so the TV in the next room was clearly audible. The front staff were really friendly but the bar staff and back of hotel staff were... more

Stayed there for a few weeks while on business Hotel - All clean. Pool & Gym are ok. Rooms - Clean but facilities basic compared to pricing - Problems with air-con which were never resolved over weeks. Meant an open window to the A3..noisy! Food - Room service food quality is poor. Cheap ingredients at hyper prices. - Breakfast is... more

Stayed one night. Well outside guildford - £7 in a taxi from the station. Booked an executive room, which would have been fine, except it faced onto the road and looked out onto a rooftop with a noisy set of fans going. As we specifically requested a room away from traffic noise and hotel noise my husband went down and... more

The hotel is on par with typical Holiday Inn standards and has a great Health Club with Pool & Spa Area. The restaurant and food are a good standard as are the rooms. The biggest drawback with this hotel is the location as no where is in walking distance meaning a constant reliance on taxi's. more
