Possibly about due a re-furb - still using proper room keys. That said, clean and tidy; friendly staff. Bit of a way for a restaurant of any description - the old Little Chef all boarded up, so not a whiff of an Olympic Breakfast then... Handy for major routes to the south.

Although a basic room is expected for the price paid, this Travelodge was disappointing. Stayed at this Travelodge for 1 night prior to visiting Stockton. Whilst the Travelodge is in a fairly remote location it has good access roads to Durham, the motorway and Stockton.
