Sorry it's taken so long to write a review! We stayed here a good while ago, and would return for sure if we were visiting wells again! Lovely room, amazing breakfast, and such friendly owners- really no negatives at all! Also, just perfect walking distance into town.

I stayed at Ashford house for four days, whilst on placement in and around Somerset. I had a warm welcome from Jayne on a Sunday evening. I was shown to my double room which was lovely and cosy. Everything that was needed in a B and B was all there; a kettle, microwave, mini-fridge, en-suite, and free wifi. The beds... More

This is a fantastic place to stay and would thoroughly recommend it! We stayed in the double room which was beautifully furnished and spacious. After a week of staying in various b&b's around Cornwall and eating out every night, it was lovely to have a fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery and glasses available for a night in. The breakfasts that we... More

We found this place on trip advisor doing the usual, we'd left till the last minute to book something And luckily they had space here The two rooms [or suites]are seperate from the house.away from the road, so no traffic noise at all Very clean the only fault...if you can call it a fault ,would be that [in the rose... I found Ashford house while googling somewhere to stay overnight in Wells and I am so happy I found this place! The room is sparklingly modern and clean. The beds are so so comfy, we stayed in Poppy. Wells centre is a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, toast, croissant, cheese meat, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, milk and juice. Tea... More

On a recent trip to England we were lucky enough to fall into the hands of the woman who operates this b&b. We had asked a previous host to find us a place in Wells and she came up with Ashford House. We were delighted. It's near the town, convenient to everything we wanted to see and do and we... More

A really stylish and convenient place to stay in Wells. We had an exceptionally warm welcome from Jayne, 5 star comfort without the associated price tag, great choice for breakfast and plenty of it. Nothing was too much trouble. We were even able to save on the cost of eating out by bringing supper back to enjoy in our suite.... More

For many years now I have stayed at B&Bs owned and hosted by Jayne Wood. I go to England twice a year. I always make it a point to go to Wells and stay at Ashford House. It's like going home. The accomodations are bright and clean. The food is good. Above all, the welcome is warm, friendly and helpful.... More

Stayed here with my mom and stepdad. It was very clean and the owner was lovely. Not a 10 minute walk from Wells Cathedral, the most beautiful one I have ever seen. Only two issues: the wireless Internet was not working, and the breakfast sprea was small. Besides that, a great choice!
