A really stylish and convenient place to stay in Wells. We had an exceptionally warm welcome from Jayne, 5 star comfort without the associated price tag, great choice for breakfast and plenty of it. For many years now I have stayed at B&Bs owned and hosted by Jayne Wood. I go to England twice a year. I always make it a point to go to Wells and stay at Ashford House. It's like going home. The accomodations are bright and clean. The food is good. Above all, the welcome is warm, friendly and helpful.... More

Stayed here with my mom and stepdad. It was very clean and the owner was lovely. Not a 10 minute walk from Wells Cathedral, the most beautiful one I have ever seen. Only two issues: the wireless Internet was not working, and the breakfast sprea was small. Besides that, a great choice!
