This review is long overdue. What more can be said about Parsnips that has not already been shared in these many glowing reviews? The warmth and charisma of this place is a reflection of that of Linda and her husband. Linda welcomed me with a big smile and a key to her home. The house is immaculate and my room... More

My memory of Parsnips is the bright and airy white bedroom with a 100% comfortable bed - white and soft as a cloud. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever experienced but shiny clean and perfectly adequate. Our hostess was so welcoming and made sure that everything we needed was catered for. The B&B was quite different to the... More

We were greeted by the excellent Linda who gave us coffee, a map of the town, recommendations of where to eat and a copy of The Oracle, Glastonbury's whats-on freesheet. Bobby & Timmy the chihuahuas came to check us out and then Linda showed us to a smart twin room and we stowed our kit and strolled out into the... More

Spent two nights at this guest house, we arrived later than we had first thought due to a late lunch with friends. We contacted the owner to advise; she could not have been nicer and confirmed it was no problem whatsoever. We arrived mid evening, even though the owner was in the middle of cooking her own dinner she still... More

Everything about our stay was perfect. Yes, it is the usual small UK rooms, but everything was so squeaky clean and fresh! The breakfasts are great! The beds are sooooo comfy. And this is a perfect location where you can walk to everything. Thank you, L & L! More

A first class service from start to finish. An extremely warm welcome is guaranteed on arrival, with a friendly service continuing throughout your entire stay. Rooms are of very high standard and good views await. Very accommodating with any request whether this be food preferences, local area guidance or facilities within your room. Excellent quality food served for breakfast and... More

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed staying here. I didn't want to leave so I extended my stay. The rooms are so well laid out, serviced every day and super clean. You will sleep like a baby with soft pillows and doonah. The shower has great water pressure and is always hot. But the real winner is... More

Absolutely loved this B & B. It is very neat and clean. Every breakfast was a work of art. Lynda and Lloyd are very friendly and make you feel right at home. We stayed a week and I wanted to take them home with me. My room had the double bed and was very comfortable. They have thought of everything... More

Have experienced a few B&B's but nothing as charming, comfortable amd helpful hosts. Lynda was so welcoming and friendly without being "pushy". Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Even put the heating on for us as it was wet and chilly when we arrived. The breakfast was AMAZING with so much choice and as much as we wanted. Her 2 little... More
