We took a long weekend in Dunster and stayed here for two nights. The rooms were quaint and had good facilities. The beds were comfortable and the location, right in downtown Dunster, can't be beat. Our only complaint was that the breakfast was very slow both days. However, it was decent value for money. More

My husband recently stayed for a 3 night business trip .As a fan of trip advisor we checked some of the reviews before he stayed. He found the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were well kept and comfortable. The food in the bar was excellent. Overall he felt that his stay was excellent value for money and... More

Stayed for one night on 9th march, our second stay and were again not disappointed. Staff couldn't do enough, very prompt and friendly. Food delicious! Stayed in room 17 which was 4 poster and amazing beamed roof. Some furniture could do with updating and decor a little tired in places but all in character of such a historic building. Would... More

We have spent another most enjoyable weekend at this olde worlde hotel. It is so relaxing to "go back in time" and to be treated to excellent food and service from the attentive staff. Dunster is such an unspoiled town, except that it is a pity that some of the old cobbled pavements have been covered over with slabs. The... More

We have stayed at the Luttrell Arms a few times as a couple; Dunster is a lovely spot and the hotel is so cosy and welcoming. But this time we came with our 7 month old twins and the weekend was even better! The staff catered brilliantly not only to our 2 babies but also to 2 frazzled parents! Thank... More

Excellent bargain break,2 nights dinner ,B+B, and then 1 night B+B free. Friendly, professional staff, especially Kelly (reception). Good food, both in quality, and quantity. Lovely dining room, cosy bar with log fire, whole hotel warm, even though very cold weather.Room 3, superior room, large, very clean, view of Yarn Market from bedroom, view of castle from roomy bathroom.Husband found matress... My husband and I had a holiday in Somerset in November 2011. We spent a day in Dunster and had lunch in The Luttrell Arms bar. The staff were friendly and the bar welcoming with a lovely open fire. We had our young dog with us who was also made welcome with a bowl of water. We had planned to... More

Called in at the Luttrell Arms while on a visit to the West Somerset Railway. Although the bar had a nie Olde World charm, the food was poor quality - the 'Luttrell's pie' that I had was basically gravey with a few diced veg and a square of pastry and my husband's fish and chips was equally unappetitising. Really disappointing More

We had booked for a meal for a Christmas get together, a girls night out. T service was abysmal, the food totally DISGUSTING, and inedible. We complained to the "waitress" and asked to see the manager, she said she would tell him, an hour later when asked where the manager was we were told he gone home! No apology, nothing... More
