I usually have at least one negative thing to stay because nobody gets it 100% right but I can honestly say that this B&B is spot on. The village of Stogumber is magical and our stay was perfect. Sheila and Phillip are 2 of the best people I have ever met. All smiles and willing to help in any way-... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Cheerfully greeted, groundfloor room which was great for my grandad who couldnt walk up stairs very well. Room was sizeable, clean and tidy - well equipped too. Very warm welcome by hosts, looked after very well throughout the stay - and a breakfast to keep you fuelled for the day! I would recommend anyone... More

Wick House, in Stogumber is a fantastic B&B in a perfect location to explore both the Quantock Hills, Exmoor and the surrounding areas. The village of Stogumber has a lovely pub within short walking distance and it's also very close to the Steam train which runs between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead. From the moment you ring the doorbell at Wick... More

Stayed recently to visit family and could not fault Wick House. Friendly, accommodating, clean and charming without being "over-styled and over-priced". Children loved their room, especially the large selection of different drinks including hot chocolate, and a few complimentary chocs! Nice big breakfast including fresh fruit salad as well as the standard English (which is such a rarity for us).... More

We stayed here for a long weekend in August and used Wick House as a base to explore the National Park. On arrival we were greeted cheerful with cake and tea after a long drive. Breakfast was very nice and gave plenty of fuel for the days hiking and exploring. The town is very quaint and quiet so a great... More

I can now tell you Wick House is an idyllic property set in the beautiful village of Stogumber and more importantly is within a minute's walk of the local and friendly pub. We were greated by Philip (husband of the husband... More

Within a very short time after being greeted on our arrival by mine hosts Phillip and Sheila Gibbs my sister, my partner and myself were enjoying a welcoming cup of tea and complimentary cakes on the terrace. A few days later on our return from touring Somerset and Devon we were again welcomed in similar fashion. I myself have stayed... More

My husband arranged a break a Wick House as a surprise for my 30th birthday. As we were getting nearer to the house we were already admiring the surrounding countryside and the village of Stogumber is very picturesque. The house itself is very pretty, with lovely gardens and our room was a good size (big enough to fit our travel... More
