We have recently made a return short visit to The Stags Head Inn. Thats what we call a proper English country Inn! Our first visit to this pub (to stay for two nights) and we were treated like old friends, great staff, lovely food, very reasonable rates and the rooms are a treat. Not cramped but still cosey. Recommended by a local relative. A very warm and inviting Inn with excellent amenities, service and food - a lovely atmosphere lunch time and in the evenings. The room was excellent with lovely little touches not always found in larger hotels. Would definitely stay again if in the area and recommend it to anyone. More
