Me and my half stayed in a double room with en-suite shower room for 2 nights. Everything was clean and very stylish! The lady there was really nice to us, professional (gave us all information we needed, offered help but didn't want to waste our time). Amazing view (we could see a beautiful garden and nearly whole town!) Breakfast was... More

I stayed here in April with 2 other girls and we enjoyed our stay at Astor House. The ladies who ran the B&B were very helpful and friendly. We requested a fridge for the room as one of us is diabetic and they catered for our needs. The breakfasts were tasty and a good portion. The only negative aspect was... More

Stayed in March for three nights, very clean and nicely decorated room with large bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities that where topped up each day. Good breakfast with varied choice served by friendly staff. Would definitely stay if visiting Bath again, there is a 15 min walk to the city centre.

We had a large room, with a separate loo and bathroom. The room was nicely decorated with extra chairs and a table. There was also an iron and ironing board. Spotlessly clean. The only downside was the bed wasn't that comfortable and as there was plenty of room a Kingsize would have been nice. Nice choice for breakfast with fruit... More

We stayed at Astor House at the end of November, beginning December 2012. It's about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Bath, perfect for the Christmas Market. Not sure who the owners were as when we arrived we were left a note and instructions on where to find the keys. We looked on the internet to find out... More

People like to have a moan at everything and some of the previous comments seem a little unfair. My husband, sister and I were in Bath for a wedding and we had room two which was a family room. It was clean and bright and the beds were comfortable, what more could you want. There was plenty of coffee available... More

We were greeted by a monosyllabic barefooted yoof who gave us our key and told us which floor we were on... that was it. No hello, no details on breakfast times, no smile, no niceties. We stayed in room number 2 which was a good size and generally nicely appointed with lots of character and a lovely view although the... More

Lovely family run B&B. Warm atmosphere, recently refurbished, looks bright and well decorated. Rooms are on first and second floors, 8 rooms in total. We had a double ensuite on the 2nd floor, it was spacious and overlooked the rear garden, good views of Bath. Breakfast was great, the usual cereals, etc. + hot food cooked to order, good selection... More

We stayed here recently and have a few positives and a few negatives worth sharing. Negatives: The plumbing was very noisy, when the next door room flushed at 3am we knew about it. The bed was hard, but then you may like hard beds. The TV didn't work properly, we jiggled the wires a bit and it worked for 10... More

I was very concerned after I read some of the other reviews and almost cancelled but when I got to the house I was pleasantly surprised. We were met by the owner and allowed to check in a couple of hours early. My room was lovely (bathroom small but the shower was good). The bedroom was nicely decorated and I... More
