This is quite a large Travelodge with a bar, restaurant etc, a nice contrast to the ones with just a vending machine. Found it quite pleasant, perhaps a bit better than the smaller ones we have stayed in. Room was ok and the location is great for the centre of Bath and the restaurants etc (do try Jimmy Spices if... We booked this hotel really for the location and price, We noticed a lot of negative reviews but we were looking for somwhere cheaper and close to town. Fortunately we booked in advance and got a room for 3 nights for 128.75! The room was clean and looked out onto river (I asked for this when we arrived) and got... More

I have always wanted to stay here as it is by the junction of the river and canal. It is a very pleasant walk into Bath. Corridors could have done with a coat of varnish on the wood work. We were overlooking the juction area - off to a good start. However - Room was spartan, and bathroom small with... More

If you shop around online, you can get quite a reasonable price for a room. But you get what you pay for. Room was basic but reasonable; but outside in the corridors, the carpets were dirty; and the staff were absent or frankly didn't care. Parking £5 for 24 hours which is not too bad, given limited parking in Bath.... More

Manged to get last parking space - parking good value at £5 for 24 hours. Allocated romom 405 which, for some reason, was on the 1st floor down a very long corridor, with a carpet in need of vacuuming and with printed notices showing the way. On finally finding our room and bearing in mind the intense heat, the first... More

arrived at 10 minutes to 3 couldn't get in till 3. 125 pound a night and parking fee of 5 pound in their grounds and no breakfast included. Horrid mattress and the pillows were worse. Wasn't very clean but the sheets were. Here in England for 6 weeks and this hotel and Hilton Bath are the worse by far More

Yes the room was cheap and I wasn't expecting luxury, however, we had two measly, flat and very hard pillows between us which were impossible to comfy on. I went down toe reception at about 1 a.m. where there were two other guests also asking for pillows and we were all told there were no more in the building and... More

Pros: close to Bath city, only a few minutes walk or 10 mins stroll. Cons: where do I start.....firstly, they refuse to store your luggage for you. So you either have to keep your luggage with you or pay for an early check in. I don't have a problem with paying for an early check in, I do have a... More

I have stayed in a fair few hotels in my life, and am normally very British about these things. Never complain, just say thankyou even if it wasn't great. But this hotel is so awful, it has prompted me to write my very first tripadvisor review. Why? Bathroom - dirty. Wee marks on the floor, hair in the plug hole.... More
