Another lovely stay at Bailbrook Lodge, we have stayed several times and always look forward to our return. The rooms are comfortable and homely, the staff are friendly and always thoughtful and accommodating. The setting is beautiful and the character of the Lodge makes for a tranquil stay. The breakfasts are great, as someone who doesn't eat meat there is... More

Lovely quaint lodge in beautiful garden setting. Room small but very comfortable and fabulous slipper bath. Great breakfast, whatever you'd like from an extensive cooked breakfast menu and cereals, croissants and juice available on the buffet. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating when I asked for extra blankets due to the rather chilly and unusual May weather! Definately on my list... More

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean, bright and pleasant. Breakfast was splendid and they were happy to cater for any request. Champagne at breakfast is always a nice touch. They promptly sorted out an issue I had where my shirt was damaged by a faulty ironing board. Very impressive and I will be back.

Went here on Sunday 14th April, not a very cold day but room was chilly. Lady at reception very nice and place on first impression was old world and quaint. Paid extra for four poster room, very large and all old style furniture. However, the windows were old and my husband could put his hand in between them imagine the... More

Thank you for your comments regarding the Four Poster Room at Bailbrook Lodge. Yes, it was a cold and very windy day. The windows in this room are 14ft tall, Grade 1 listed and over the past 150 years they have probably shrunk a little here and there which may have caused a draught, however nothing like the gale you... This guest house/inn is a perfect spot for a stay when visiting Bath. It is a short bus ride away from the city itself, being located in a kind of suburb. It seems to be a throwback to less hectic times; and is totally charming in all respects. The room was small but very pretty. The full English breakfast was... More

Booked online without seeing Hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Location good for Bath, on foot or bus or Taxi. e arrived Easter weekend (Rugby also on that day) so traffic VERY heavy, but walked in and got bus back - stops right outside. Room (4-poster) was great, food and hospitality also 1st class. If you're travelling to Bath grat choice.

I really enjoyed the spa package offered by Bailbrook Lodge. For less than £200 per person, we had two nights accommodation, two generous breakfasts, an afternoon tea on the Saturday and entry to the spa in Bath. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was good. The bedrooms are fairly small but everything was clean and the room... More

On our arrival at Bailbrook Lodge we were greeted in a very warm friendly manner and shown to our room. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, very clean with a very comfortable bed and all amenities thoughtfully provided. Towels were good quality, fluffy and clean, even slippers were provided. We had a lovely dinner in Bath at Jamie Oliver's... More
