right next to the Abbey. A bit expensive but adequate. more

We stayed at the Abbey Hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of Jan. We had a great time, we had a large bedroom and great value for money! Only a matter of metres from the Roman Baths and the Abbey, close to the shops, which was great for the January sales! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!... more
Excellent location, very central to all attractions in Bath. 24hr car park around the corner which is £12 for full 24hrs. Hotel itself clean, tidy, modern and what you expect from a large hotel chain. Staff friendly but not over enthusiastic about their jobs! We didn't dine in the hotel in the evening but I have to say the breakfast... more
Nice hotel. We payed extra for one of the named suites. We chose the Anne Hobbs suite. With the exchange rate, it came out to around 180.00 American. Well worth the money. The breakfast was average at best. The hotel is centrally located, easy walking distance to all shops & the Abbey. more
Back in March of this year my wife and I went to Bath for a long weekend and was stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean but they are bit dated but the staffs were very pleasant and helpful.Alot of the famous attractions were literally 3-4 minutes stroll from the hotel which was fantastic. the breakfast was inclusive and... more
Our room was first floor at the front and, oh dear, the noise was appalling. Not just people standing outside as well as walking by all night till daylight and staying around and making a noise all night but a dreadful, dreadful disco in the pub adjacent, with an ear shattering booming bass, on both the Friday night and Saturday... more
We were a group of 8 middle aged 'ladies' and our rooms were at the front of the hotel on the third floor, great views but unfortunately there was considerable noise from traffic human and motor vehicles. When we closed the windows unfortunately 'twas too warm. If this hotel was air conditioned I would definitely say it could be 4... more
Our trip was arranged around a trip to the Thermae Spa, which was within very easy walking distance of the hotel, and a "must do" of the Bizarre Bath Comedy tour- we were delighted to find the Huntsman Pub (meeting place for Bizarre Bath) was about 4 paces from the Hotel - so we couldn't have planned that better! The... more
A bunch of us went to Bath to celebrate a friends 40th birthday. Its a beautiful city but my trip was entirely spoilt by the fact that the gift I purchased for my friend went missing from my hotel room! I got little or no satisfaction from the Managers on Duty over the weekend they claimed it must have been... more
We would like to point out a number of inaccuracies in this review. The guest claimed that an item of property had been left in the room AFTER she had vacated it. However our housekeeping staff are quite sure that nothing was left in the room. In addition to this it was not claimed that her property “must have been...
This hotel seemed to be ideal (save for reported noise issues) based on previous reviews here. The reviews were right -- it is ideal! Luckily enough for me, I avoided the noise problem due to where my room was placed. I faced some back walls of other buildings, so I missed all of the noise others have reported. As there... more
