This hotel is right in the centre of Bath which is perfect for sightseeing and our room and bathroom were furnished tastefully with generous quantities of toiletries in the large bathroom. Our stay should have been lovely, but we had a sleepless night due to the constant noise of traffic and more annoyingly the rowdy shouting and singing from copious... more

The Queensberry is a perfectly nice hotel, but nowhere near as cool/boutique/luxurious/special as it would like to think. It has the great good fortune to be in Bath where, as it would if it were in London, Oxford, Cambridge, York, Edinburgh or Stratford, it can and does price-up to gouge the foreign and domestic tourist alike. Yes the rooms are... more

Do the managemant not read these reviews? Put a kettle and beverages in the rooms! It's so basic, and everyone mentions it. We were told that complimetary tea and coffee was available only in the lounge...but we were on holiday and didn't want to have to dress and go into the public areas just for a simple cuppa. The room... more

My husband and I stayed at the Queensberry Hotel for 3 nights in late September 2009. We booked a Classic Double and were in Room 14 overlooking Russel Street. The location was perfect for us. The street was quiet, but walking distance from great restaurants and all the sights in Bath. We walked from the train station with our luggage,... more

We stayed here for one night, our first room was on the ground floor and there was noise which I believe was from an extractor fan, I complained to reception who said that in however many years no one before had ever complained! Anyway, all the rooms like ours (standard) were booked so we were moved to a superior deluxe... more

Only stayed for one night but wished we'd stayed longer. Great location, cute boutique hotel elegantly decorated - we loved our room - very plush - and loved that we had our own staircase that led to our bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious, but perhaps a little pricey. Would love to go back. more

Having read a particularly negative trip advisor review in advance of our stay we were very sceptical. However, we found the entire experience exceptional. Staff and management were cheerful and enthusiastic with the room exceeding all expectations. Highly recommended. more

We spent two nights at The Queensberry and compared with other hotels in England during this vacation found it worth the money. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-run, even though the newly-installed computer system failed as we were checking out. We were surprised to find the hotel charges a credit card transaction fee. When we made the reservation we... more

I am pleased to see the previous review because it echoes my feelings too. Its a nice place ... for half the price We only booked a standard double through MrandMrsSmith . Arrived just before 2 pm and our room wasnt ready, so we grabbed some lunch and came back to find our bag in our room and we were... more

Having read other reviews on this site, I feel the same as a number of previous guests. We were due to go in September, but owing to pressure of my husband's work, we had to postpone the trip until October. Upon phoning to inform the hotel, the response was brusque and because it was within 48 hours we were told... more
