Seriously wonder whether we stayed at the same hotel as some of the other reviews! We had a really enjoyable long week-end, with excellent service which was very considerate, and outstanding three course meals in the dining room on the Friday and Sunday. The menu provided a really good balance of different meals, the food was delicious, service was very...

The good - the house is a lovely old listed building, with lots of character. Also the staff were genuinely nice and considerate. Food at the restaurant also very decent.
The bad - a very cold room with the heating rarely turned on. Not communicating to us that the restaurant would close early when we arrived a little late, and...

Pleasant enough rooms . The trouble started in the evening with the meal and the service provided by the young staff. Incorrect meals brought to table, meals cold, no wine glasses, etc, etc' etc. Not their fault necessarily that there was no senior management present, but there was nobody there who had any authority or no-how to rectify the catalogue...

We are satisfied that the appropriate procedure was followed to address this matter in the most efficient and professional manner, and we endeavour to meet most guests's expectactions with sympathetic approach.

Location great, rooms quaint, totally let down by the evening meal. Started off well with a pleasant first course then things went down hill. They brought out the wrong meal for one of us whilst two of us ending up sending our food back as it was not hot enough.(as an aside the portions were pathetic). Waited half an hour...

Thank you for your review. We unfortunately served one wrong main course, and the situation was addressed immediately, and the course replaced within 10 minutes as it is cooked to order... in the meantime, the other guests carried on eating, but one decided to return his plate with two bite size left, claiming that the food was cold.. We offered...

Convenient setting and parking but the staff appeared surly. They refused to carry bags up several flights of steep stairs which were covered in very worn carpet. The shower did not work and the breakfast was only adequate. We did not book dinner because there was no menu in evidence. It was overpriced and very disappointing.

Thank you for your review. The staff on duty is only too happy to help you with your luggage on requests as reported in previous reviews, and the menu is clearly displayed in and out of the Dining Room, Reception and outside lit menu box. Menus are keenly priced and offer excellent value for money to discerning guests, and the...

We were only visiting Ludlow for the day as we live in the Beautiful town of Shrewsbury (plug).
We have been meaning to have a meal at Dinham Hall and were not disappointed with our lunch. We had the best steak and chips we have had in a long time, simple but excellent. Good atmosphere and the staff were friendly,...

The hotel is well placed in the centre of Ludlow with private parking.
After checking in we were taken to our room which was on the top floor ,no assistance was offered with our luggage. On our way to the room we noticed threadbare carpets. Our room was the Mortimer room 8 which was spacious with excellent views, but cold...

This hotel is situated really conveniently by the castle in Ludlow with off road parking. The welcome was friendly and the staff helpful and pleasant. Room was comfortable and well equipped and the bathroom was kept stocked with good quality shampoo etc. I would have liked biscuits with the tea/coffee but my wife didn't mind so take your pick. Breakfast...
