The 2 bedroom appartments are excellent value if you share the cost. The equivalent single cost gets you into the lowest quality hotels in the Reading area and number 18 is far from that.
Clean and roomy with very good facilities

Max Number-18... finally I could get a reasonable Service Apartment after a week long search in Reading. Though it's located slightly further from Town Center but offers a good walk beside the Forbury Gardens to my work place on the other side of Reading station. The Hindu Temple is also at 10 minutes walk from here. To spend good time...

We were in Reading for a week on business. Coming back to a clean, well-appointed and spacious apartment each night made the entire trip relaxing. The location is a convenient walk to everything, but parking is limited (as they warn you). However, limited parking and street noise are not surprising given the location within centre city--to be fair, the street...

These apartments may look great online but everything changes when you get there! The service is terrible, the managment is inexperienced and my overall experience was poor - the water power is not existent, the parking is limited, the flats are small and claustrophobic, there is building work and noise, the other people in the block are loud and the...

I stay away for work a lot, and get sick of hotel rooms and enforced breakfast, so to find this off-central location that I could just dump my stuff and eat beans on toast for tea suited me fine.

I stayed at Number 18 for five days at the beginning of July. The overall impression of the apartment was good but I was disappointed by certain drawbacks that you wouldn't be able to pick up from the website.
I had an apartment on the ground floor at the back of the building. I could not open the blinds because...

I stay away 2 out of every 4 weeks I would say. I found Number 18 on the internet and not having stayed in serviced apartments before in Reading I thought I would give it a try. I was slightly concerned in regards to the building work but after speaking to someone at the apartments I was assured this would...

We had to stay here for work for a few weeks, when entering the web site the place looked brill, once we arrived it was a different story. Parking in limited first come and nearest car park is town centre, which works out expensive. Then the whole building is surrounding by work sites next down and above so if you...

Reading really has a poor choice of overpriced accommodation.
Even the big hotel in the city centre that looks posh really isn't that great.
I have to stay in Reading periodically. During a recent week's stay, I decided to try sharing a Number 18 two bed apartment with a colleague. By splitting the cost we were able to meet the...
