Stayed for one night as it was the cheapest option. Spotlessly clean romm and public areas. Very good breakfast. Fifteen minute walk to main rail station or about £5 in a taxi. more

Booked an overnight stay for a sunday night. When we arrived the hotel was closed, Rang the hotel number and was told by the manageress that she was out shopping and that we should come back in 30 minuites!!!! When we were eventually 'allowed' in...we had to listen to the manageress complaining about other residents and who she was going... more

We stayed at the Belle Vue House on a trip to decide if we wanted to move to the area. The proprietress was very welcoming and informative. When we returned at the end of each long day she was happy to make us a pot of tea. She always went out of her way to make us comfortable. Our room... more
