We have just had our daughters wedding reception at Wokefield Park in the Mansion House. There are three parts to Wokefield Park. The executive suite has many rooms and is mainly used for conferences as it has all the facilities. The Lodge is a separate building with lovely rooms and the Mansion House is the original building which has been... more

I am not in the habit of writing scathing reviews on hotels, but this fully deserves it. We visited wokefield park for a birthday weekend for a friend of mine. 7 of us went in all. The good bits first - the golf course was ok (nothing special), and the bedroom was nicely decorated, decent facilities. Check in was a... more

Stayed for two nights. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was very clean. We stayed in the Wellington Lodge. Rooms were very spacious, comfy chairs, walk in shower, huge bed. Breakfast was buffet style very nice. Not too far from Reading. Lovely golf course. We had days out while my son and his friend went to Reading festival. Would definitely stay... more

The Mansion House at Wokefield Park: Fantastic stay. Sophie, the Receptionist at Mansion House calmly and patiently dealt with all queries and happily changed one of the rooms for my party as it was a bit small. We had a private dining room with good food. At a rate of £99 including dinner, bed and breakfast and a half hour... more

We stayed here for our friends wedding, and we originally booked for the Mansion House, which has beautiful rooms. We checked in with a very narky receptionist in the Executive building that didn't want to give us the time of day or listen to anyone except herself. We walked over to Mansion House to our room. When we walked into... more

We booked this hotel on the discounted offer of £39 per room as a suprise for my fathers birthday with his family, 6 adults and a 4 year old child. The hotel fitted the bill perfectly for what we needed. We arrived on the Sat afternoon after a visit to Henley on Thames (Beautiful place!) on a scorching day. We... more

WE went for a one night stay for a ball. The staff were rude, the literally laughed and mocked us to our faces when buying drinks. The drinks are increadably overpriced, i have stayed in pricey places before but this place bites the sodding biscuit. The room was nice enough. The food was far from delicious. I will never go... more

I have just returned from a weekend at Wokefield Park which I had been looking forward to for a few months. I have stayed in all sorts of places all over the world and I am sad to say that apart from a little family run place in Ilfracombe in Devon, Wokefield Park is the worst hotel I have ever... more

After booking a 2 night £39.00 per night deal before reading the reviews, I thought oh no, have I made a bit mistake? The answer was a clear NO! When we arrived just before 2pm, our room was not ready and still ws not until around 3pm. No problem, we had some lunch in the bar area and then sat... more
