Great stay at this very pleasant little place. Don't understand the bad reviews, yes some of the decor is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable and Peter and Kate were such nice people, very welcoming and attentive. It isnt a hotel but a very intimate, bijou B&B and great value paticularly for the Cotswolds. Theres a really... More

We had a very filthy room with stains everywhere and dirt running down the doors. It was very hard to find the b&b as the gallery and b&b have different names. Breakfast took a long time, but the staff at the gallery, where we had it, was friendly. The owner was seen once, at arrival, and didnt give a welcomming... More

Very disappointed in this accommodation, the reviews we saw on tripadvisor did not prepare us for what we found. The room was so small, view on t/a nothing like what we got bathroom had mould around the shower area. Breakfast was dreadful, the eating area needs a good clean, did not try anything cooked just had cereal and toast.Must have been a nice place... More

I have read some of the reviews and it seems as if we were staying in another guesthouse to the one reviewed as it certainly did not meet the standard of rating I have seen in these. We arrived at 19.30 having informed the owners that we could not get there between 16.00 and 18.00 (an unusual request for a... More

Stayed over for one night only and wished we could have stayed longer. Had the family room at the top of the stairs no 3, which had a double and a single bed with en suite shower facilities. Very comfortable bed and pleasant room which was very quiet overlooking the courtyard and church. Loved having our breakfast in the tea... More

A warm welcome, a bijou but beautifully appointed room with everything you need on a small scale. Friendly and efficient breakfast service in arty surroundings. Recommend without hesitation but if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back because of the traffic noise.

I'd already titled this review before I realised that the Tuppenny Tube has been referred to as "quirky" before, but here goes anyway ... This is not a typical B&B, but four rooms above a cafe and art gallery. Our rear room had lovely views over the back gardens of Woodstock and, although small(ish), was perfectly adequate for one night.... More

We got married at Woodstock Town Hall and although live locally, wanted somewhere comfortable and interesting to stay in for our wedding night before setting off on honeymoon a couple of days later. We are so pleased that we went to the Tuppenny Tube: I met Peter a few weeks before when I asked to see the room, and he... More

The room was alright with basic amenities that were fairly updated, but it felt like a complete ghost town. The person who let us into one of the three rooms didn't let us know any contact information for them and it wasn't until we checked out the next day that I realized they lived on the premises. They also imply... More
