A very good location easy walk into town. Rooms are all themed after famous writers well appointed. Nice view from our room which was on the top floor. Breakfast was very good and enjoyed the open fire during the evening

We popped in here on a cold April evening for dinner. The fish and chips were excellent, as were the mushy peas, which were home mashed with mint and delicious. Dessert was Eton Mess and really yummy. Service was good, atmosphere was cosy and comfortable. Would go back.
