Positives: Clean, comfortable rooms. Pleasant location and pleasant property. Quirky interior. The beds were particularly comfortable. Negatives Breakfast wasn't great, but not bad. This hotel is generally grubby and neglected. It needs major refurbishment. Lack of cleaning evident in room and ensuite. Unpleasant bedlinen. Uninspiring breakfast (dreadful cheap sausages). A very disappointing stay and poor value. More

It is barely possible to describe this dreadful hotel. Dirty, tatty, absolutely awful. Needs complete renovation or possibly demolition. More

Had a family room for 4. Had enough space for 4 in the room. It was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of food for the breakfast and all was cooked well. There was a wide selection of food to select from to eat. Plenty of parking and space out the back for the children to run around safely. More

Boars Hill is a great location for access to Oxford and with the Fox pub, which we know and like, just over the road we were looking forward to our break. Thank goodness it was only for a single night. Room was dirty, smelly, and in desperate need of re-decoration. Brerakfast was OK More
