This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed if not the worst. I stayed here with one other person as a last minute resort and we regretted it instantly. When we arrived we were greeted by a member of stay who, to be fair was very nice. She brought us inside and up to the room. The... More

Oxford- a city of class and culture. But not if you're staying in this dump. After my traumatic experiences with Travelodge in Oxford (one star), we've continued to explore the worst guesthouses in the world, which mainly seem to be based in Oxford. I'd like to say that "you get what you pay for"- but you could probably get better... More

This B & B definitely won't be appearing on Four In A Bed at any point. The best thing I can say is that it was cheap (£45 for a single en-suite per night) and clean. Further than that I would struggle to say anything positive. I'm dubious that this is a 'family run' guest house, as stated on the... More

After staying at Adams Guest House, I can understand its name. Yes it is a "house", but only barely. Definitely not a home. I commiserate with the poor chaps over the years who, like myself, have been taken for a ride by "Adams", whoever he/she might be. As for "guest", it is indeed as guest place, since there is nobody... More

This place may be cheap but there is a reason. It is an absolute dive and not worth staying there at all. Horrible place - avoid at all costs.Dirty and had a really unwelcoming atmosphere. There's plenty of B and B's on this road; we gave up and went and stayed in one of these.

We booked this hotel by e mail months ago. When we arrived at 2.30pm we were told they had given our room away as we haven't arrived by 10am and they had tried our card but it wouldn't work. They e mailed us at 2pm to tell us our room had been cancelled, but seeing as we had a 3... More

Needed a cheap B&B near Oxford with parking for 1 night for 2 of us, great value for £60 (£30 each). Given a quad room would have been very small for 4 but great for the two of us. Room and beds very clean, no stuffy smell, tea and coffee facilaties TV, bathroom extremey small but adequate, toilet flush very... More

Well I needed a bed for one night in Oxford close to the Oxford Center as I was attending a function there. I did not want to spend a fortune so chose the Adams. I guess for £55 for a triple bedded room that was of decent size for one portly soul (myself) it was as expected. Having read through... More

Adam's guest house is the best value for money B&B located at the heart of Summer town, oxford. I had to travel to UK for a sudden need and this was the best available B&B, close to my preferred location. Overall the room is stuffy, but the rooms are maintained neat and tidy. I had kept my window open for... More

I stayed at this guest house as part of a Coast to Coast cycle ride. The B&B was relatively easy to find in the Summerfield area of Oxford. There is a rank of shops and a pub in the close vaccinity of this B&B which is what I needed after a hard days cycle. I stayed in the single room... More
