Bargain priced guest house for what seems to be on offer in Oxford. Very comfortable, & simple, despite us not having private bathroom (this can save you some money, I believe other rooms do). Rooms clean and well serviced and the host was lovely. We didn't get breakfast (extra 7 pounds each per morning) but that was our choice because... More

We spent one night here while travelling across UK for our 1st wedding anniversary and this was by far the best B and B of our trip. The rooms were very clean, natural light and very comfortable. The bed was very very comfortable and it was very warm, which was very important for us. The breakfast was exceptionally tasty. Will... More

I spent a couple nights at the Ridings Guest house, and would recommend it as a good value B&B in Oxford. The room was small, but very clean, and there was plenty of hot water. It's an easy walk into the center of town, and right across the street from a bus stop. The breakfast is very good -- they'll... More

Pat is a lovely host and very welcoming. She's a wealth of information and provides a excellent breakfast. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and would definitely stay here again. The B&B is on the main bus route so only need to wait max 10-15 minutes for a bus. You can also walk into the centre of town too. More

Lovely owner, very friendly. Chatted with guests as we ate breakfast. Room was cosy, if slightly on the small side, although very well appointed and my only criticism would be that the wardrobe door didn't open freely. Located on one of the main arterial roads into Oxford, however even though I had a room at the front of the house,... More

I stayed at The Ridings recently for one night to enjoy a city break with a friend. One of the best points of the guest house is its' excellent location very close to the city centre, with either a 20 minute walk into town or a two minute bus ride. There were plenty of buses running up and down Abingdon... More

The owner was a nice and lovely lady, she put lots of small things make guest feel comfortable, like warm water on the table.I lived in... More

Stayed for 2 nights with a girlfriend in ensuite twin room, downstairs at back of house. Spotless and well equipped room with very comfy beds. Good shower with loo and basin in ensuite. Guest lounge with log fire and tv, very cosy. Good cooked breakfast in conservatory. 20 mins walk to centre of Oxford or 2 mins to bus stop... More

My husband, my oldest daughter and her husband, my 9 year old daughter and I stayed at this lovely, welcoming home recently while attending a graduation at Oxford. What an incredible hostess - warm and friendly, very accommodating. And the breakfast was sensational, a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and juices, cereals and granola, followed by a traditional full English... More
