I booked a two night stay at Eastwood Hall for a romantic weekend away for my partner's birthday. The picture of the room on the company website looked fantastic, and the deal through Lastminute.com was great. Or so it seemed. I can honestly say that the room we were given does not qualify as a four star, in my opinion.... more

Stayed one night here while visiting family and must say it really is quite pleaseant, the rooms are not small at all and do the job well. Television channels are very limited but if wanting time to do nothing would rather spend it in there Leisure club with a book there. Breakfast is just what you would expect from a "conference... more

Stayed with 2 kids on a save 50% weekend 2 nights and breakfast. Difficult to find, directions misleading. Staff at leisure club were rude, didn,t want to give us towels for swimming. Ihad already asked at reception if we needed are own but was told they had plenty at the leisure club. I refused to get towels from my room... more

I had booked this hotel as a 2 night weekend break with my partner. The hotel looked stunning as we drove into the grounds and reception was also very well presented. These seemed to be the only good points of the hotel. We were allocated a room that was very far away from the reception. Our room was average. We... more

First, the photos of Egypt have nothing to do with D.H. Lawrence; secondly, the rooms are bare and the showers do not work at all. The food at the restaurant was of poor quality although breakfast was good. All in all, it is the place to have your wedding reception and get drunk but do not expect class at all. more

I booked this trip through the Pricipal Hayley website, which showed a beautiful Hotel. It also described all rooms as being contempory with plasma screens. When we arrived at the hotel we drove straight past the beautiful building on the website and to the attached reception, we were then told to walk round to the 'accomadation block' for our room!... more

If you are looking for a nice 4 star hotel to stay at around Nottingham, this is the place. They have a pool, jaccuzi, steamroom, gym, aerobics and sauna area which is very presentable. There is also tennis and snooker to play if you have the time. The bedrooms are clean with good sized beds, although they can be quite far from reception.... more

Booked through a late deal website - which failed to mention that kids are not allowed to use the pool except on Sat & Sun from 3 - 5pm. When kids (age 10 & 12) went during the allocated time, I was informed I have to be in the pool with them - not enough to supervise. The fitness centre... more

Thank you for your feedback, all feedback is used to ensure that we pick up on any areas where we are not meeting expectations. We regularly check the websites of our online partners and they all currently show that children have splash times, whilst I appreciate this might not be ideal with a family, historically our leisure club was an...

We went for a night in August to get away from our house as it is in the middle of a renovation project. If it had been for romantic getaway, it would have been dissapointing, but leisure facilities made up for lack of personal touch, We got dinner, bed and breakfast for £90, which is a decent deal. Dinner was... more

We stayed at the hotel on 29 - 30 May on a Spring Break offer, 2 nights B+B for £120.00 while attending a wedding locally. The hotel is a corporate conference centre and the rooms are in an upmarket Travelodge/Premier Inn style, which may not be to everyone's taste. However, the rooms were spotless, comfortable, large, with open views of... more
