I use FarmStays whenever possible for business and leisure and this is one of the best I've stayed in. Best Egyptian bed linen, beautiful room, great breakfast. B&Bs don't get better than this. The Red Lion restaurant is fab - really top notch food at reasonable prices. More

Carr Edge Farmhouse was chosen as an overnight stay for our walk along Hadrian's Wall. Nothing was to much trouble for our hostess Sandie. Pick up and drop off service provided from the wall and to the local pub ( The Red Lion, also excellent!) We had wonderful accomodation in a beautiful part of the world. 10 out of 10!! More
