Service was perfect, we even got direct ride to Vindolanda. Bedrooms are made for a good night sleep. And fireplace in "breakfastroom" worked fine. Not to mention shower with chair and of course bath. More

We stayed two nights and had a great time. John and Dehlia were attentive to our every need. The breakfast was delicious. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were new. The price was very reasonable. I even left and adaptor behind and they sent it back to the States free of charge. More

The Montcoffer is in an incredible, renovated stable building with unbelievable furnishings. John and Dehlia make a great breakfast, and you can't beat the prices. Definitely stay here when visiting Hadrian's Wall. Also well-located for a day trip to Durham. More

Montcoffer B&B is located in the lovely little town of Bardon Mill, which I fell in love with immediately.
