We travelled as a family of four and was given the family room with its own ensuite which was excellent. Great location (10mins from city centre), private parking and great breakfast. Norma and Nigel were excellent hosts. Thank you for making our stay in York a memorable one. Highly recommended and will stay again. More

Thank you very much for your comments. We are pleased you liked us, and the service we gave to you. The ground floor double room is indeed situated next to the breakfast room, but this is the first time any guests have been concerned about this, to our knowledge. In fact the guest who wrote the review entitled, "Short Break... More

Even though i was staying on my own i was given a double room at £70 for 3 nights bed and breakfast - fantastic value for money. Super breakfast and a warm friendly welcome from Norma and Nigel. Will definately stay again - peter from derby More

From the moment of arrival, my wife, two boys and myself were made most welcome by Nigel the owner. The location was ideal being a short but scenic walk to the centre taking under 10 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and the efforts to take the orders of my fussy kids by the very friendly landlady was very much appreciated. Would... More
