Stayed for 3 nights mid April. Ian is cetainly a character - a good one I hasten to add. Very helpful with his short cuts to places and general knowledge of York. Room was very comfortable - everything you needed without being too cluttered. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice and good quality. Would definately stay there again

Bootham Garden Guest is wonderful and excellent guest house to stay in, very friendly people, nice clean rooms and very well kept. York is a wonderful city and plenty to do there while staying, eating out is very good. Bootham Gardens is a short walk away from the centre. Will stay there again the next time in York.
