Basic Travelodge, in need of refurbishment. We stayed for 3 nights and it was clean and staff were friendly just adequate, but very cheap, so cant complain. There is a J.D. Wetherspoons bar right next door, and even below some of the rooms, which was very handy for breakfast.

Room 203 was disgusting. There was dirt and clumps of matted hair all over the carpet which obviously hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The general state of the hotel was grubby and the room I stayed in had a variety of stains, grime and cigarette burn marks on the walls. £98 for this experience is disgraceful.

Stayed here a couple of times. Rooms ok but nothing special. Very noisy especially on horse racing weekends. There is a massive weatherspoons pub attached to the hotel. Probably quieter during midweek. Overpriced for what you get. On the plus side it is in a good position for the town centre.

Check in was quick and easy and the staff were great, got to our room which was lovely and clean. Had to get extra pillows from reception but they were great about it. The hotel is in a good location - 5 minutes walk from the Centre. We wanted to check in early, but were told there was a £10 charge. We agreed to this but were then told that the room wasn't yet clean. Therefore, took luggage back to car and returned a couple of hours later. Room was functional and clean.... More
