A very last minute decision to drop in for a drink and snack, sitting in a delightful spacious garden basking in the sun. Service, food, location all superb. A return trip is needed to better experience its delights. The world is a busy place and to relax within its quiet corner of York was bliss.

What a fabulous place, wodnerful location, we stayed for 2 nights, loved it. This is the first hotel where heard nothing at all , the rooms are so peaceful with views over the garden. Will go back for sure
