Long time since I have been in York so decided to treate my Aunty to 70th Birthday present and take both her and my wife there for the weekend. I still remember how lovely and light our room seemed upon opening the door. Obviously, much care had been taken to make guests feel at home. Great location to explore all York has to offer, wonderful accommodation, Great breakfast, Beautiful rooms, and hosts that went all out to make our stay so great. Parking available on request (extra charge) but very handy, then easy walk everywhere. more

The location is good, but very close to railway lines, however the view of the river makes up for that.
