Stayed for 2nights whilst visiting York. Checkin staff were very helpful and the room was excellent, spotlessly clean with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was average, there was a good selection but the bacon and sausages appeared to have been cooked many hours previously and the fried eggs were very hard. But overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend.

We were given one of the back family rooms. The floor boards and chair creaked when anyone moved. There was no bath in our room just a very tall shower where my 6 year old could not reach the soap. I stayed here on a weekend singing visit to the Minster and chose it for its location just 5 minutes' brisk walk from the Minster. Stayed for a long weekend trip in York. Booked for three nights - had the most comfortable bed ever!. Staff were great - and very helpful and the location for sightseeing in York - or catching one of the tour buses- was superb
