At least everything was clean. Unfortunately the owner wasn't very welcoming or flexible and the ensuite was tiny. Couldn't fault Crossways, we had a lovely stay. Its well looked after and very clean and tidy. The rooms are modern and finished off well with all the amenities you need. It's only located rough 10 mins from York centre, which makes it away from any noise but close enough to walk everywhere. As stated, will come again More

Recieved a warm welcome on arrival with lovely little homemade cakes in our room. Guesthouse is well situated, only a short walk to the city centre. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of food and our room was ideal for us. Will definitely stay again in the future. More

We stayed at the crossways for 2 nights and upon arrival we got a very warm and friendly welcome. The room we stayed it was very clean, tidy and modern could not fault at all. We received a warm welcome on our arrival with home made cake and tea. The guest house is situated 10 minutes from the minster. Room (6) was very clean, warm and comfortable, though slightly small.
