This hotel is about a 5/10 minute walk from york city centre. Arrived to be told there is a £5 parking charge. I despise all hotels which residents to park. Stayed for 2 nights while visiting York in July. Hotel very impressive with ample parking. we had a family room which was spacious enough and overlooked the river. Had an inner door as well as main door which was brilliant from stopping noise coming through from main hall. Did not get disturbed by noise at all. Kids loved the pool... more
