Easy to walk into the city, or bus stops right outside. Owners very friendly. Since they no longer provide evening meals they will provide crockery & cutlery if one wishes to bring back a takeaway. More

Good location for visiting all the major attractions in York. The local bus stop is directly outside the pub. Approx 10 minutes walk to York Minster. I had the full English breakfast which was enough for the day. Room was clean and warm. I would recommend it to a friend. More

Second time I have stayed at this property and I would stay again. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. Listed in this years GBG they have a good selection of real ales on and in top condition. Free secure parking for anyone who arrives by car. More
