Decided to stay at Amber House after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed, room was super and bed was so comfortable we even took the details from the mattress as we want to replace our own bed. A ten minute walk takes you into York so you can leave your car behind using the free parking permit... more

We were made to feel very welcome, some great recommendations on where to eat thank you. Enjoyed our stay very much, very well situated in lovely quiet street only took us a 7 minute walk into town. Breakfast was fantastic and we would love to go back. Great customer service, lovely people. more
