What can you say. This is a wonderful place. We spent yet another fabulous three nights here. It is spotless with great attention to detail and every comfort. Brian and Abby go the extra mile to make your stay so good. The breakfast is first class, the rooms beautifully furnished and well stocked with goodies. The cake is to die... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here February 2011 for two nights. Could not fault the b&b at all. Excellent location, fabulous hosts who strive to please. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic array of amenities in the room, including toiletries and tea tray with a wide selection of drinks and even homemade cake. Superbly decorated. Stayed in room 7 first night and room... More

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Seaview guest house. It was excellent, from ringing the bell to enter, to leaving and saying good bye. It is obvious that Abby and Brian take a great pride in their guest home. As Brian said to me they class it an extension of their own home. From room... More

Stayed in room 7 which has the most beautiful view in Whitby. They provided clean rooms and very delicious breakfast. Thank you Abby and Brian! More

We had a great weekend in Whitby, made all the more special by Brian and Abby at the Seaview. We stayed in room 6 which has lovely views across the harbour to the Abbey. The hotel is beautifully decorated and immaculately kept. The attention to detail is as good as any 5 star hotel with excellent food and accomodation. We... More

The tea tray had an abundance of hot drinks, incliding Horlicks, Ovaltine. Hot chocolate, Latte with lite versions for the weight watchers, with proper... More

This is a hotel/B&B for grown-ups. Decorated and furnished in art deco style, Brian and Abby have created a very special place. Their attention to detail is perfect. Home baked cake and hand made jam are just some of the little touches that set the Seaview apart from other bed and breakfasts. Have the kippers for breakfast - Brian cooks... More

Me and my partner spent a blissful weekend at the Seaview, and I can now say that I will not stay anywhere else in Whitby. First of all, the weather was fantastic and very sunny, so we were able to totally enjoy the great views. You can see the abbey on the other side of the harbour, with its boats... More

Our stay at Seaview 30/9 to 3/10 2012 was just 5 star. Abby and Brian were the perfect hosts. Our room in this Art Deco Guest House was a dream. The boys have gone length to purchase authentic 20's Furniture and fittings. You must taste the full English breakfast or the Local Kippers, need I say more, just the best. These Boys... More
