I've travelled all over the UK and Overseas, and to be frank the service at Holmleigh was first rate! Better than many 5 star hotels I've stayed in! Would recommend anyone looking for real Yorkshire hospitality visit Kevin and Carol! More

We stayed at the Holmleigh Guest House on the 9/10 August. We were greeted by Kev &Carol, a very nice and genuine couple who can't do enough for you during your stay. The room was spacious and absolutely spotless. The breakfast lived up to all the reviews we had read on the internet, it was marvelous. Should we visit Whitby again... More

Kev and Carole are lovely, friendly people, but are in no way intrusive. Holmleigh Guest House is absolutely spotless (which is a very important factor for me). We stayed 2 nights and our room was cleaned both days with tea and coffee facilities replenished. Now for the breakfast - we have stayed in many hotels over the years and have... More

My wife and I found this on the internet and visited their site prior to booking. We booked a 3 night stay after reading reviews, but most importantly, speaking to the owners. There are few words which can describe this B&B. One of these is 'excellent'. If you want to stay in a friendly, clean guesthouse, look no further. The... More

Went for the weekend at the end of September and couldn't fault it! Kev & Carol were brilliant, they gave us a warm and friendly welcome as did Rosie the dog! The rooms were great; warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, when I saw the size of the plates I opted for a small full english and even... More

Stayed for 2 nights during the Whitby Regatta and Folk Week! Kevin and Carol were very accommodating and friendly. We had a great big room at the top of the house, which was very clean and offered everything we needed, the water pressure out the shower was a little slow but we weren't in any rush! Breakfast in the morning... More

Stayed for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend. Kev & Carol (and Rosie the dog) were very welcoming. Our room was well maintained and immaculately clean and very spacious with bay window, traditional fireplace and sofa as well as the usual amenities. The main appeal for us of Holmleigh was the guaranted parking space for each room which takes... More
