I visited with my wife in March and couldn't be more impressed. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. There was cake on arrival, great and friendly advice about Whitby (we'd never visited before) and a very warm welcome. The B&B at night was very quiet and warm in the evening and breakfast was fantastic (definitely go for he... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Dillons, having been impressed by the web-site descriptions of its slightly off-beat individually-decorated rooms and because it was one of the few B & Bs in Whitby with some parking space. It is also very well-placed for accessing the town's various attractions, restaurants, wine-bars etc and is just across the road from a very... More

Dillons of Whitby thoroughly deserves its accolades from my fellow reviewers. This is what I can only describe as a very B&B. It is very clean, very comfortable, very relaxing, and very well-appointed; the beds are very sleep-inducing, the breakfasts are very divine but most importantly mine hosts, Mathew & Craig, are not only very friendly but passionate about ensuring... We stayed at Dillons for a 2 night break, and booked, based on the good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The hosts are both lovely and greeted us with a warm welcome, and couldn't do enough for us. The B&B is spotless, not a speck of dust to be seen and it is tastefully decorated throughout. Having a 'specials board' at... More

Once again a fantastic stay at Dillons. The best place to stay when you're in Whitby as far as we're concerned! The owners of the B&B were different to when we stayed last time but it was still as good. The breakfast is one of the best you will get from a B&B. Lots of choice and a different daily... More

We booked 3 nights at Dillon's for my 40th birthday weekend. We had read all the positive reviews on here and knew we were in for a treat. Before arrival, Mathew emailed us details of local restaurants and other interesting things relevant to the area which was very helpful. On arrival we were immediately made very welcome and nothing was... More

From the start it was clear that Dillons is run by lovely people who genuinely want their guests to have a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated, everywhere was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were fantastic....including the choice of three types of vegetarian sausage!! We felt at home there and Mat and Craig are attentive hosts.... More

Stayed here recently and had a great weekend. It is so rewarding to stay somewhere that has such lovely caring people running the place, and such a lot of additional special touches that makes a short break special. If you are going to this area look no futher for a great stay

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Toulouse Room. The facilities were excellent and the location couldn't have been much better, being reasonably close to the centre of town. Matthew and Craig were brilliant hosts and we felt more like friends than guests staying in their home. We can't wait to return again.

We found Dillons of Whitby on the internet so you always wonder. The booking was easy and the telephone conversation made us feel it was going to be a good decision.
