If your need is just to sleep somewhere centrally located in Norwich this is OK. Not a place to be spending anytime in the room. Good full English (except no black pudding), toast, cereal available, juice, tea & coffee, that's it. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast room newly decorated, spacious, good furniture. My impression is this would have previously been a... More

First impressions; this hasn't been touched since the 80's at the earliest. Bathroom, loo roll holder sat on windowsill broken, sink had a large crack, shower weak, ropey old curtain, some unidentified yellow/orange stuff coating the shower head. Floor towel sized towels for use, one bottle of hand wash, nothing else. Room had a certain musty smell to it, the... More

I arrived around 5pm after driving for 5 hours from Manchester. Tired and cold, I was so looking forward to a hot bath and a warm room where I couild put my feet up for an hour before having to go out again to meet friends. On turning the key to the room my heart sunk. Attic room, freezing cold,... More

I stayed at this hotel with 5 girlie friends on a hen night, so we just wanted somewhere cheap near the pubs and clubs. The man checking us in was friendly enough. You get a parking permit to park on the neighbouring residential road. We went up to our room and mine and my friends room had a funny smell,... More

Where to start; was booked into this hotel by employer as I was on business for 3 night stay. Hotel has no car parking and although they give you an onroad permit for the residential side street adjoining, you take your chances in trying to find a space with the locals, tradesmen and other guests. Hotel has a very shabby... More

If you are looking for a basic, no frills bed for the night, then The Station Hotel in Norwich provides just that. My daughter and I needed a cheap overnight stay so that she could look around the university and I pre-booked two single rooms for one night. On arrival a very pleasant young woman checked us in and showed... More

I stayed as a single female traveller on the night of March 2nd 2012. A good experience. I would liken it to a "no frills airline" it is basic but clean, very handy for railway station, really good breakfast. Also you can book in from 11 am so if you get to Norwich by train, you can book in and... More

My friend and I booked for 1 night for a Xmas shopping trip. After booking in we found some serious and not so serious issues. After speaking to the owner/manager we went out. When we got back he had not only sorted all the issues but sorted them very well. No 'bodge job" at all. He is working his way... More
