Firstly I would like to say how disappointed I am with your review. As soon as your complaint was passed on to me I contacted you to discuss the problem and subsequently refunded part of your payment. Had your complaint been raised with a member of staff at the time you would have been offered alternative accomodation. We aim to... More

I was surprised to see negative comments about the staff at this hotel. I stayed over with a friend for two nights to attend a wedding. We payed £45 and the hotel was pretty much as expected. The new reception area made a fantastic first impression and the staff were very helpful in working out how we could get to... More

Great hotel. Room spacious with large, comfortable bed. Quiet despite being near to a main road. Excellent nights sleep. Perfectly adequate breakfast and good bar meal the night before. Staff efficient, polite and friendly. Excellent value for money. More

I have travelled all over the world and I have never stayed in such a dire hotel like this. To begin, I was welcomed by a very grumpy receptionist who complained about working there and how he was going to have a 'long night'. No exactly welcoming. The room was clean enough, but not newly refurbished as the website suggests.... More

There are some plus points to this hotel, such as the large free parking, the fairly comfortable beds, the decent shower pressure. It's true that the rooms are dated, and it's not an understatement to say that it's like stepping back to the seventies. But the big let-down for us was the atrocious breakfast. Brook management: please take note! The... More

Firstly I would like to thank you for your review. The Hotel is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme during which the hotel bedrooms are being re-decorated and re-styled. This does mean that prices are increasing but I feel that this reflects positively the changes that are being made and the prices are still extremely competitive for this area. Our... More

I booked The Brook for a business trip to Norwich. I'd like to either be more enthusiastic or more damning, but I can't. In pretty much every way the hotel was simply adequate. Rooms are located on two floors on a more or less square floor plan, set off a long corridor with lights that come on as you walk.... More

We spent 3 nights here in March 2012. The hotel and rooms are clean, efficient and comfortable. What really made it a good stay was the staff. We blew a room fuse when we plugged in an appliance (it could have been the fault of our appliance) on Sunday night. Within a few minutes someone was there to have a... More

The Brook Hotel is no frills but good value for money. Slowly being refurbished after a previous incarnation went into administration. Sadly the pool and fitness centre closed then and are not a high priority in terms of refurbishment. The rooms are the rear of the hotel are quite nosiy as they back onto the Fakenham Road. The quieter rooms... More
