Our stay at the Ivy Dene proved to be very comfortable and enjoyable. Dave the landlord made us feel incredibly welcome throughout and was extremely attentive. The rooms were pleasant and clean with comfortable beds and breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Ideal location for Norwich city centre. Parking a little tricky but permits provided so perfectly workable. Would certainly... More

We booked the ivy dene through laterooms.com on 27th March to stay there on 13th of april. I even emailed them to reserve a parking place, received a reply to say parking had been reserved for us. On wednesday they phoned me and cancelled our booking due to being over booked,or was it because we were only staying for the... More

This great City Central place is not far from both bus and train stations, so access was easily achieved. My Wife and I found this friendly guest house to be clean and very comfortable. The room which we stayed in was warm and the washing facilities were more than adequate with ample towels and soap substances. When we arrived which... More

This was our worst nightmare, turned up just for 1 night to find ... settee's and matresses pilled up in front lounge, ironing board set-out in dining room that had sticky plastic covers on, smelt like frying pan had been on all day, bedroom was really shabby, carpets peeling up at edges, finger marks all around light switches, kick boards... Although the double bed room was a little worn and the bathroom tiny, the bed at Ive Dene's was most comfortable and the shower a nice strong one. Ellie, from Barcelona, was our hostess and was a delight and very helpful. And while the location seems central, check your directions ahead of time or you could go the long way... More

We had a holiday booked in Cromer, but had to travel south earlier than planned for work, rather than return back to lancashire we decided to spend the "spare days" exploring South Norfolk. We booked into the Ivy Dene on a recommendation from a friend, the landlady was friendly with a cup of tea offered on our arrival, car parking... More

I booked a double room for one night to visit my daughter in Norwich having confirmed parking was available. On arrival I was told the 2 permits had been given to another B+B next door! and that I could use the car park for another chain of B+B's down the road. When I asked if they had permission to do...
