We used the Cleveland for a two night visit to London, at the end of January. Very clean, good sized room which included an ensuite shower room and and a kitchenet. On a arrival we found the receptionist cheerful and helpful. The main advantage of staying in this hotel is its location. Close to both the Bayswater and Queensway tube... More

This was the only place in london which would take 4 girls on a weekend away. We were all in one room, There was one bed and one sofa bed which was a dissapointment. The balcony outside was small but loverly. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the lancaster tube station and was in a quite posh end... More

Great little hotel in a great location. Really professional staff, very friendly and helpful. Good size rooms for central London, little kitchenette was an added bonus. Wasnt able to change the channel on the TV but that could have just been a once off. More

Stayed there in november 2011. We got à room in the "basement" so we didn't get the best room though the room was very Nice and clean. Did really liked the kitchen we had so we could eat breakfast in the room. The wifi was not so good but could be because we had the room in the basement. It... More

Just stayed at this hotel and is pretty good. Great little kitchenette in the room, really comfy beds, great clean bathroom too. Really nice and easy checkin too. Relatively central location too. Close to some nice restaurants too. On our visit we used the 'boris' bikes to get around. Only £1 a day and you can use them anywhere to... More

First, I have to say that the hotel looks really worse in real life than it does on professional photos on hotel's website. So when you first walk-in to the hotel, you get a little disappointed as your expectations have not been met (which is, obviously, a big minus for the hotel). We arrived early in the morning and the... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. First impressions were good, the reception guy was super friendly and let me leave my luggage in their care as i was a little early. When i did eventually check in my bags were already in the room. Again, staff were all smiles and very helpful. In fact over my stay i required a number... More

I really loved this place. It was priced right, very close to a Boots (pharmacy) and a Tesco (supermarket) so it was ideal. Not to mention that Portobello market is very close. Steps from two tube stations and from Kensington park. I read all of the reviews before I went and was a little anxious, but I really didn't have... More

Our room seemed great for what we wanted.....large, good bed, lots of space, kitchen area....but after 1 hour of being in the room we smelt sick! It now made sense why all the windows were open and there was an air fresher going off every 5 mins by the door. We decided that on our way out we would mention... More

There are pros and cons to The Cleveland. Pros include a wonderful central location (within easy walking distance of Paddington, Heathrow Express, several Tube stops, Hyde Park and lots of neighborhood restaurants); large rooms by European standards; comfortable beds; good Continental breakfast included; excellent bathrooms and toiletries; and free Wi-Fi. Cons include filthy carpets; extremely indifferent staff; and the strange... More
